Yeah I think they should have just dumped the Sandman and Goblin part and made it all about Venom and Carnage. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't that great either.
I am not a spiderman fan at all, and for about 2 weeks prior to the release of Spiderman 3 I must have re-iterated the fact that I thought Spiderman was a homosexual about a hundred times a day.
That being said, I naturally hated the first movie, and couldn't even watch all of number two.
My friend saw Spiderman 3, and stopped arguing with me about Spiderman being gay and finally agreed.
So needless to say I had low expectations going in, seeing as how I hated it, and my friend who used to be telling me otherwise now helps me reinforce Spiderman's homosexuality. However, after seeing the movie I must say, I wasn't as depressed by it as I thought I would be.
I guess my expectations were just so damn low that I imagined much worse, or something like that. But I would give it a C-.

I will concede that they did make spiderman look like a pussy in this one (of course i thought Toby McGuire was a horrible casting decision to begin with), which really drove me nuts. In a few years or hell, if they did spiderman 4, I wouldn't mind one bit if they did what they have done with batman and make him more of a darker character with no crying, more ass kicking, "im the spiderman, bitch!" mentality.

Too much love story, not enough action. Kids aren't going to watch Peter strut for 30 mins and not get bored.
Sandman should have been meaner. Venom was well done but should have had more overall story. Not enough questioning over it.
Black Suit Spidey was such a small section compared to all the hype.
Final battle was rushed. How come Spidey isn't dead with the amount of pummeling he was taking to his head a lot? :huh:
The final ending. Well that sucked. Got to leave on Spidey swinging with cool music IMO.
