I've suggested to my sister that she name her little girl to be - Manchester. She's not sure about it but she's considering. What do you think?
Clever. Like being named Pittsburg or Schenectady. Kid'll grow up to be beaten to death by Liverpool fans[/b]
when i read this one i saw in my minds eye that scene in Eurotriip when they get to france and the football thugs chase that frog football shirt guy lol

I have always gotten a kick out of the moron celebrity (Can't remember who as I do not believe celebrities are the gods of our time) who named her daughter Apple, due to it's significance in the bible.
I too think its funny that parents take their own "creatvity" and put it towards their kid's names. I know I want to, but would never do anything too extreme. I do like Miken, made it on accident when naming myself in Final Fantasy, was origionally just planning on making it Mike and hit the n key and it worked. So if I had a kid I think that is as crazy as I would go. My girlfriends best friend is having a kid and thought of the name Skyler (SP? just use phenetics to get how it sounds). If I had a kid I would be real tempted to give him a bad ass name like Thor or Ramses, but I'm sure that would end up haunting him.

Huh, I didn't know it was. It was going to be a girl's name, and she is having a boy so it wont be named Skyler. As in the South Park character?
