Ever heard of NFL Europe? It doesn't have as many teams as the US NFL, but it is there :P

And I don't know why people think soccer isn't that big in the US, I played in a huge community league as a kid over 20 years ago for 8 years, then played in high school. Every community I've lived in has had soccer leagues for children and often adults (5 different locations now). Every college I've attended or worked at (4) has had an official team. I think we are just missing a rock star player or two or maybe a World Cup title to put it out there to the older generation.

I too played soccer from childhood through high school. I am a big fan of it, but it will never catch on in the US, even if they win a world cup or two. It is just not an exciting enough game for Americans, plain and simple. Maybe, just maybe US folks will care about as much as other olympic sports, i.e. care about it a little once every 4 years then go back to forgetting about it till next time.

I just wish they made a GTA game that revolved around soccer hooligans. Imagine the possiblities...

There has been widespread panic in North London today as a French Football Player went missing. It had been said that he had been returning home to highbury. The man who is also known at Patrick Vieira went missing around 19:45.
38,000 people were on the search for the missing player and he was found at 21:30 in a one Cesc Fabregas's pocket.

vieira was nowhere at all tonight. seemed to me like after the first 10-15 mins juve just gave up. camoranesi pissed me off with all that crap he was doing when he got sent off though
