I gots some dough to blow and can't decide if I should get a 360 or PSP, any advice or words of wisdom from anyone that has either or both?

Also, if I get one or the other, which game should I get to go with it?

not sure you can compare the 360 and the psp. Comes down to this: do you want something portable or not?

yeah what stav said but on the portable side: ive been looking at nintendo DS's and for some reason im far more inclined to go for one of those than a psp - basically i have a ps2 so i can play the proper games as they were intended to be played rather than some ported down stuff

plus on the DS you can play multiplayer tetris :D

dont buy a psp. i did and i never ever use it. yeah its useful when you want to play somethin on a long car journey or sumthin but most of the time im like "why dont i just play on my ps2 instead?...thats has a bigger screen and doesnt hurt my fingers"

neither?<strike>
</strike>[/b]

Buy an XBOX360, the only reason I have a PSP is because I usually do some traveling during the summer and i'd like a portable game system and to watch movies. But if you don't plan on any trips go with the 360

I say go with a DS instead of a PSP, I don't like my PSP much and I don't use it for anything than running emulators at the moment (which you can't do with newer firmware versions).

The DS Lite is comming out soon, and I think it's going to retail at $130.00. If you like fighting games and don't mind importing I'd suggest Bleach DS or Jump Superstars.

I haven't played Jump Superstars, but it has great reviews and people say it's like a Super Smash Bros. with Anime characters.

As for Bleach DS, the game is awsome whether you watch the show or not.

I actually started thinkin about that yesterday and realized I would probably only play it once a year when I went to Vegas. Not a very good investment, so I'll probably get a 360, it has some good games out now and the line up after E3 looks a lot more promising then what the original Xbox offered.

Never underestimate the power of portable gaming!

It all depends on your situation....I have an hour plus commute every day and my PSP and DS are my best buds. Each have their own unique games which makes both systems fun....but that also depends on your gaming prefs. I bought a DS so I could play the Metroid and Castlevania games...and for that reason it doesn't dissapoint.

The PSP is great for watching UMD movies and has a number of good game and game franchises. Some games on the PSP are a love/hate thing for ppl, for example the Metal Gear Acid series.....I loved it, they got me through many many commutes...some ppl despise the series.

Anyways, they're both good systems in their own right, it just depends on your gaming prefs.

Also......being able to game while on the toilet is one of the greatest accomplishments of our time LOL :P

there is only 1 fw that does not let you use emus...anything above fw 15 you have to dl an eboot and you have to have gta

i think its like 2.7 that you cant use emus on or maybe if there is a 2.8?
