I hate them, TechTV was always my station, G4 always seemed geared towards the frat boy that only played madden and halo and considered themselves a gamer. I mean their commercials were nothing but AXE, boobs, and "Put neon lights on your car" crap.

G4 now has some shows from the old TechTV, but they all now have the vibe that G4 always had.

QFE, Old school Screensaver's with Pat and Leo for the mother fucking win. G4 Now is total bullshitty children's shows.

AOTS is just like screen savers....if the screen saver guys knew nothing about technology, never helped anybody's help calls, and never reviewed hardware. :mellow:

What you didn't like the episode he was supposed to be on originally, and they replaced his segement with a "Fun with Homeless" segment? Which made me physically ill to watch it.

Yeah...G4 has taken Tech Tv and like I said...dumbed it down for the frat boy that watches MTV nonstop, plays halo, and has a car with more lights on it than a christmas tree.

Tech TV used to be all I watched, now it is nothing but history or discovery channel.

Ohh..and why the hell is playing lots of star trek late at night a bad thing :P
 
When I say I love G4, I mean Xplay and that's about it. Secret Agent Bob and Special Agent Steve are the only thing I enjoy watching other then Xplay - and that's where it originated.

That Kevin guy from Screen Savers went to work for AOTS and then he quit when he made 60 million (#'s might be a wee bit off - but it's about that much).

Always use to watch Extended Play, Screensavers, Fresh Gear and Call For Help back in 2000 while playing misc games :D Best downtime shows ever.

well G4 didnt really take Tech Tv..they merged for a while...unless G4 like bought them out or something :P

i still like the old G4 before tech tv came into the channel...i just think the shows were better :)
