I worked on christmas once....guy pulled a gun on me and threatened to make this the worst christmas for me ever. Got shot at, and in the end he ended up in jail and lovely parting gifts from me. One in the thigh and two in the upper right chest.

Heh, got a call of a suspicious person in a shopping center just being beligerant.....so get to the scene and as im getting out of my cruiser guy starts to approach me. i give him the command to back off and show me hands....he reaches into his coat pocket and starts pulling out and thats when I go for my gun. He's pointing at me cursing and screaming saying how much his life sucks. I told him his lifes gonna suck more if hes dead. So, its a stand off for a few minutes and other units get there....and as he sees them pulling up he jerks his gun over to me with both hands on the gun and yells "FUCK YOU!".
3 shots 2 in the upper right chest points the gun at me again 1 in the thigh and he goes down. Turns out he was bipolar and off his meds with an added hatred for the police.
