Video Game Voters Network

Just my 2 cents.

I think its total horse shit what politicians try to do to video games. When people go off and commit crimes and blame it on a video game (mostly GTA), this just gives politicians a stronger foothold. To be honest its not the games, if it were the games then I think everyone would be running around killing everyone and stuff. Some people just dont get it I guess. And also, these politicians of a different generation never had video games as a form of entertainment for most of their lives, I think that there is one of the issues in trying to handle this. The times are changing and so is the market. Did you know that video games are ranked over movies in the selling industry? It just goes to show you...

Oh and banning video games, you think they could spend their time more wisely trying to crack down on the drug and alcohol problem, those things alone hurt our society more than our entertainment.

Right, exactly the point of the group. Now make sure you sign up and help get the voice heard. Being mad about politics is one thing, trying to do something about it is another.

Sending threats to politicians dosn't help us either, if anything it makes us look worse lol.
[/b]

No way, sheer numbers works! We don't need to threaten them, just show people's support against their proposal, petitions and the like do work. It is certainly better than doing nothing.

You're right, it's a bad choice, but it is still a choice.
