Very Small Demo of a game I'm working on

hrmm I'm gonna update you guys on my game from time to time... ok for tonights update I finally finished coding in the sword and his basic slash attacks... I can now slice bushes but theres a bug that if I hold a directional and keep pressing the slash button I slide randomally I'm going to have to look into that lol
 
well got some sounds up now, when link swings his sword he has the voice from ocarina of time and when you slice the bushes now you have a 1/4 chance of getting a green rupee a 1/8 chance of getting a blue rupee a 1/16 chance of getting a red rupee and a 1/32 chance of getting a purple rupee (still get purple rupees way too much so im probably going to lower the chance rate even more) movement is still buggy right now im looking into ways of fixing it and the music is the "light world" music from legend of zelda a link to the past. Still working on mapping out all the different rooms its really difficult to connect them all there's gotta be an easier way.... so far no eneimes, im still looking into how to make an enemy AI
 
I'm just curious, since I program a little (very little) on my own from time to time... What language are you using?

i honestly dont know what language it is im using Game Maker 6.0 to make it and no I didn't update the download link.
 
i can write java games :o

i made rock, paper, scissors, and 21 for school so far..i was working on a fighting game for fun
 
I'm just using prebuilt code and telling it what to do, hell its fun shit I'm making my own games without years of learning code.. seriously all i ever wanted to do is make my own game and now I can and I am :) atm I'm still working on room transitions... I now have the rooms linked together but I'm trying to figure out how to keep the pre room X or Y value depending on which direction im going... once I get this outta the way I'm going to be expanding my map and then working towards building an enemy AI.. oh shit almost forgot I need a story for this game LOL!
