The HEROES thread

Why didn't Sylar use Eve's power......
He didn't get her brain. she put a bullet through it instead
Remember Peter absorbs powers, the more powers Sylar uses the more powers Peter gets. However Sylar's examination of Peter will work the same way. The more powers Peter uses the more Sylar is likely to gain.

Once he takes Peter's brain he should have every power Peter has
I'm glad Claire found out who her family really is. I wonder if she thinks Peter's her dad :), when actually he's her uncle.
She saw her Dad and knows what he looks like. She doesn't know that Peter is related to any of them as no last names have been mentioned.

Where is the invisible guy? Did anyone notice that Nathan's door opened in the background after he got out and was talking to someone. I thought it was Peter up until the time we see Peter confronting Sylar, so if it really happened and wasn't a figment then the invisible fella has to be close to Nathan and Mr. Linderman.

Teh only part I saw of this was when Nathan was talking to his aid after the FBI came in and they were still in New York.

Okay if the company knows what he told his wife, what happened to Claire's adopted mom? Will her adopted dad survive...seems unlikely but you never know. Where is Claire's money grubbing mom?

We will find out what happened to HRG. Stepmom is iffy. Real mom took off to mexico

I think when Chandra first met Sylar his power never manifested. So Chandra thought he whole theory was a bust. But he found out that something in the brain gives people their powers so when Sylar met the dude with telekinesis he killed him and I dunno ate his brain I guess lol.

Sylar had the power to "fix" things. He just wanted more. He wants to be "special"

i thought sylars power was more to do with seeing exactly how things work and in great detail.

the way he fixing things (watches etc) stems from that, as does his gathering other peoples abilities from examining their brains - atlhough its still unclear just exactly what he does with the brain (i really hope he doesnt eat them lol)

Sounds good to me.

Wow Sylars power is lame lol

except now he has other people's powers

Yeah but lol being stuck with his power would suck :P

It's like that episode of family guy when the got super powers... Meg could grow and retract her nails.. lol

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Mecinia Lu-a @ Mar 8 2007, 03:50 AM)
Sylar though as far as I can tell didn't gain her powers because of Hiro's interference.

He uses it in one of the comics

I disagree. having the ability to figure out how things work and "fix" them if they are broken seems like a good power to have. Imagine all the loot you could make.

Yeah but without Charlies Mind power he would eventually forget and his power would become useless :P

Maybe Micro$oft will hire him :D

I think Peter's ability is a bit overpowered. Imagine if he showed up at the big battle in Xmen 3 with hundreds of muties :o . Luckily they balance his possible infinite abilites with timidity, naivete, and touchy-feeliness. It he was as jaded and angry as the invisible guy he could easily become a one man army. Kind of like Sylar may become. Just think, by being near Sylar again he has that many more powers, including super hearing and now perfect memory.

Peter is very much like Rogue. For a brief time a few years ago before she lost her powers Rogue had her powers boosted by Sage. She was able to call at will any power of any superbeing she'd ever absorbed. In the ensuing battle against an alliance invasion force she called upon a huge variety of superpowers. She used the powers of most of the X-Men, Avengers, Brotherhood, and numerous others. I think the alien warlord was getting data back with casualty reports reaching 99.99% on his side. She lost her powers fighting someone else thereafter, along with Gambit.

I think they should have let her keep them all. She might have made the next great villian with all those powers, as her thoughts were more along Magneto's than Xavier's.

Was the comic where Sylar used Charlie's powers before or after Hiro went back in time? I've not actually seen him use it in the show since Hiro went back in time and then returned to the present.

I know Claire saw the back of Nathan's car and hit it with a rock, but did she actually see Nathan.

When he looks at something he knows exactly how it works, what's wrong with it, and how to fix it. That's his power. He can't forget it.

After. It was when he escaped from the company.

She saw him and heard his voice enough to know it's not Peter. She has no idea that her last name is Petrelli

In the last episode Claire met Peter and Nathans mother and said "Im your grandmother".

watch it again. No where does the grandmother state her last name nor Nathans.

Ya, but Id think that in the conversations shorty after she would. Either that or keep trying to cover it up.
