I have a nabor that is a cop.
He told me last night that LA might roit once again if Stanley Tookie Williams is put to death.

Here we go once again..

As I live right next to long beach I could have a big problem if this takes place.

I will break out the guns tonight I have no problem shooting nubs that come near my house..

I was a really really good shot in the Marines and will I just hope I do not have to prove it tonight..

man is being put to death for starting the crips, not for the murders he "did", which he says he was innocent. In my heart ive read interviews with him and many storys about him. he has turned a leaf and still to this day says he didnt kill them. They are putting him to death because he was a menace, not because he killed anybody
and i wouldnt doubt if they rioted. be careful drew. and remember shot for their dicks for me!

Agreed if prisons arnt there for peopelt o change to re-evaluate thier lives and better themselves then why not jsut kill everyone that is convicted of a crime. Give the guy a c hance let him stay in prison fort he rest fo his life.

That being said im all for civil disobedience.

I for one and this is just me IMO.... do not want to keep paying to feed and house people that can not get there act together like the rest of us....

I feel a .22 to the back of the head is not only fast but cheap too.....

Seemsto me he DID ge this act together, is REFORMED and is penitnet. But hey call me a liberal or a person that actually realizes tha thte prison system is there to REFORM people.

Did you know any can get nominated for a nobell peace prize.
Did this person give the people he killed a chance to get there life together.
If you life was on the line would you do what ever it takes to try to safe it.
this guy made the worst street gang around his members have kill so many people rapped so many people and stolen and done stuff that is so bad it is well make me feel sad to all the people they have hut.
Do I feel bad no way we want to trail he was convicted by his peers in a court of law. Do they make mistakes yea but I will tell you this it is still one of the best systems in the world. I know this is IMO and I have no tact I know it but, I will speak my mind as it is the right of everyone in this country to do so. expect for the people this guy killed he took there rights away the sec he pulled the triger...

what i dont understand is they get convicted of the death penalty, and then send them to a cell for the next 24 years and make Mr. Honest Joe Taxpayer pay for his room & board & food & etc for the next 24 yrs.
I say you hear deatyh penalty, it happens out front of the courthouse at High noon the next day. and Ill bet you my life that youll see the crime rate drop by the 100th Killing

yeah you do got alot of good points too. death penalty really isnt the part of "turn your life around" prison. thats more of life without parol.

Unless you have dealt in the law enforcement community its something you just wont understand until you've actually dealt with it. Trust me as a former cop, 90-95% of the people in jail don't reform or if they do, they revert back in time....its a never ending cycle. If they've been in jail once, they'll be back there again eventually.

I worked for many years ina law office but that has little to do with me or my thinkign that humans can possibly change and there is always good in people if you look for it.

FYI Drew if you shoot the person more than once in order to kill them and don't hit either the heart or head, you can be sued for desecration of the body by the family of the person. Just a lil tid bit, so aim well.

And cruel and unusula punishment as well.

Williams is a very very evil person. I use the term evil sparingly to ensure that it really has meaning. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and other similar murderers top the list. You could reasonably argue that Williams belongs on this list. As a founder of one of the nation's worst crime gangs, Williams is indirectly responsible for tens of thousands of deaths, not to mention the fear that decent people suffer living under the thumb of gangs and gang violence.

My views on the death penalty are more complicated. I am not sure it serves a real purpose, but this is an evolving view of mine. I am more pro-death penalty than I am anti, but that may change. Regardless, I would be hard pressed to pick anyone more "deserving" of this type of justice. Scott Peterson comes in as a close second.

As for riots, I sure hope that there are not any. I am sure that Williams has many enemies that will be celebrating, so I doubt that he has a wide base of support from the african-american community. It is certainly nothing like what happened with Rodney King. I think that many african-americans could empathize with King and DWB stops and it became personal. I seriously doubt that Williams enjoys that same empathy.

I'd rather get shot in the head compared to lethal injection. At least the pain will be very very minute.
