went to an mc chris show here in town tonight and lemme tell zomg the dude is hilarious ... i mean i got alot of his cds and i know hes funny and geek/cool but man irl he was on fire ..it was like going to a stand up show with some music in between lmao ..if you get a chance you should check him oot

yes most folks here were probably first exposed to him from the fetts vette swg movie but hes been around for a while .. i think hes on his 4th or 5th cd ..also used to work for cartoon network doing stuff on adult swim ...hes 100% indie no label no backing etc ..his newest cd "dungeon master of ceremonies " is on itunes now ..heh he said they were in top 100 for like 15 minutes but dont worry he got a screen shot so itll live forever

I missed a show of his over in the south bay last year, I was pretty bummed but my friends that went said it was really lame and that he lip-synched and ended early. I was crushed.

Glad to hear a good review, though. Maybe he wasn't feeling good or something.

i wouldnt call it lip synching as much as it is rhyming over his music ..i mean the guy has little funds..his on stge set up is pretty much a mac laptop with all his songs on it ..his " dj " ques up the songs which are patched into the venues sound system ..this enables him to get all his beats and backing vocals with very little cost ..so yes alot of the over dubbed background things will be off the pc but he rhymes the rhymes live ..for your friends was probably hard to tell the difference in a larger place ..here in salt lake where the cool kids are small in numbers was pretty easy to see the set-up and understand what was going on ...was only about 150 folks at the show in this tiny lil dive bar thats actually a really cool place hehe

Yeah, he's a rapper who makes his voice all squeaky (it's not his real voice), he did Fette's Vette and he does the voices for the rapper on Aqua Teen Hunger Force (i want candy.. bubblegum or taffy.. the person who always goes to hell and comes back as some different thing.. cow, old man, spider, etc)
