It is a peronal attack when you have Wanderhomies members who are also members of the Armed Forces and you want to post articles (btw we do not need a daily news digest on everything that is happening in the world) that demean(sp?) them (i.e. Why can't we see the caskets of dead soldiers, look how many have died as a result of this war we need to stop, articles posted against the soldiers from left wing sites......ect ect).Hey Stav,
While we're at it, could you clarify what exactly would consitute flame-baiting in your view, in the Coffe House forum?
I used to be under the impression that only a personal attack against another wanderhomie would be considered baiting or flaming.
Now, some other wanderhomies are apparently saying that even posting an article (which is not for or against something) and leaving your personal opinion out of that OP (as in, the OP doesn't say she's for or against something that the article mentions) is somehow against the forum rules?
I mean, by that standard, someone could post an article about the homeless and then some wanderhomie will come along and say, "You're just posting this because you hate the homeless!! flame-baiter!!!".

That is the most assinine thing I have ever heard someone say. There are ways to make a post that doesn't inculde reveling in the deaths of soldiers. You seem to be assuming people would react differently to the tragic deaths of U.S. soldiers based on whether they think the war is right or wrong.
OK, I'll make it real simple for you. For purposes of any discussions regarding the number of soldiers who have died in Iraq, I change my position. I am now 100% in favor of the war and 100% in favor of Bush.
Now, that means we're both on the same side, right?

The body count from World War II was far higher for Allied troops than for the crushed Axis. Americans lost more men in each of a succession of Pacific battles than the 2,390 people who died at Pearl Harbor in the attack that made the U.S. declare war on Japan. The U.S. lost 405,399 in the theaters of World War II.[/b]
I know that there are people out to "get" others banned. I'm an oblivious mod. [/b]
