Of course people have different interests, no question about it. It's how it should be!
But some things are common knowledge, and some things people should know. And if for no other reason, at least for taking responsability for yourself, family, country and the world. If we only know about the things that are real real close to us, and hardly even that, we wouldnt get very far...and it's (imho) kind of selfish and ignorant. Agreed
