We always say "this is just a game". I hear that over and over again.
Tonight, I got a present from Merly and it made me realize how we touch each other's lives. It's just a simple book, but to me books are my life's blood. I love to read more than anything in the world. So to get a simple package from half-way across the world was an amazing thing. Then to think that I met this wonderful person on the forums where we played for hours on the "Ride from Hell" thread.
I just wanted each of you to think for a minute about we've touched each other's lives. All from playing a silly game based in one of our favorite universes.
This isn't the first time I've thought about it, but it reinforced that warm fuzzy thing I get when I log in to see who has posted what.
