Is part of California Law. Employers have to grant at least one day of diversity off. For example, you have Mexicans working for you. And they celebrate, let's say 16 of September (Mexico's Independence) or 24 of February (Flag day). Well they can take that day off. They can choose one of their national or religion days. And well, ya have Japanese, Chinese, Koreans, Iranies(sp), Iraquies(sp), Canadians, Mexicans, South Americans, Europeans... California is quite diverse.
This law started two years ago.
For Americans working for the company, they can take one of the days the employer doesn't give. Like Martin Luther King day, columbus day, etc... [/b]
