how much do they match in yer 401k and how much time off ya get?

my company matches 100% of 3% and 50% of 2% with 100% vestment right away.
time off sucks though - 18 days for sick,vacation,personal - everything
and i gotta pay my patch in medical/dental - but they have a vision plan that's cheap.

no cell - but i'm not a real programmer in their minds.

50% up to 6% on the 401k

2 weeks vacation
sick days are "as needed".
after the wedding they will also pay for Jenni's cell.

I forgot they pay for life insurance too

and thanks everybody. been busting my ass as a contractor to get this.

401k is our retirement plan. we pay into them because up to 6% of our pay can be deducted and reduce the amount of earnings we pay tax on. Also companies usually match a chunk of that 6%. That money is invested in funds for our retirement.

Also bonus every year of 3-5%.


Only problem is my raise will only be 3-5% a year also.
 
bonuses are given every 6 months. 20% of profits are put in and divided amongst the employees based on performance.

Is part of California Law. Employers have to grant at least one day of diversity off. For example, you have Mexicans working for you. And they celebrate, let's say 16 of September (Mexico's Independence) or 24 of February (Flag day). Well they can take that day off. They can choose one of their national or religion days. And well, ya have Japanese, Chinese, Koreans, Iranies(sp), Iraquies(sp), Canadians, Mexicans, South Americans, Europeans... California is quite diverse.

This law started two years ago.

For Americans working for the company, they can take one of the days the employer doesn't give. Like Martin Luther King day, columbus day, etc...
