I would hope that the ridiculous amount of hype surrounding this completely unknown MMO will stop by 2009, I hope. Considering they have generated a market for a product that no one knows what it is.

I'll say this... Bioware is a quality game maker, and the "gaming community" knows it. All it will take is for them to transfer a beloved game to the MMO genre and we'll start seeing the hype we saw before WOW launched.
If you remember, the only things WOW had going for it during production were the love of the Warcraft series and the reputation of the developer. Many were adamant about playing the game before they saw any screenshots or even knew much about it. Bioware has the reputation, now we just need to see what the actual content will be.
