Need 'Test Drivers'

Darein

Retired SWG Bounty Hunter
I installed forums for my website yesterday, and I would like if some of you can test it out and see if any of you get SQL database errors. I have no idea how many connections my database supports. (Now that I mention that I should probably ask my hosting company  )

Also, I would like it if somebody actually used them. Not just for testing but also to post and read them, preferrably regularly. If some of you just want to register and only make one post, that would be fine, and if some of you can't stop going to forums like me - then feel free to stop by in addition to Wanderhomies and make a post from time to time.

I've got my website about how I want it, I think. If you find any problems with the forums or website, PM me (either forum) or e-mail me (devon@light-fire.net) and let me know. I would also appreciate any advice people can give me. I hope to become a "large" webcomic site someday, and actually make somewhat of a profit from ads and merchandise (profit meaning more than enough to pay my web hosting bill). Thanks!

If you haven't already read it, it would suggest reading this book http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/047174753...=books&v=glance

It is written by the guy who runs/writes http://www.userfriendly.org/

Well, to be honest I'm not really a fan of User Friendly. I suppose the book could still help me in any case.

Afterall, someone who can take 3 small frames of very simple black and white art (rarely colored anyway) and turn it into a 1.5 million visitor webpage must be doing something right.

Maybe I should start simplifying my art and update more often. Maybe not. Sometimes it helps to be different.

Anyway, why do I think UF is so simple?

Well, compare...
