mouse/keyboard problems

today I've been having problems with my mouse pointer just dissapearing and having to restart my computer to get it back. And just now my keyboard stopped working when I was in a full screen program so I also had to restart. Does anyone have any ideas about this, I checked the connections and they are all tight.

Wireless or not?

Ya... is it wireless? Some wireless models out there really suck. My new keyboard is wireless and I'm having problems with it, it keeps acting like the signal is being interrupted and it completely stops workings. Same could be with a mouse. If they are both wired in, have you tried unplugging and plugging them back in or even try using a different USB port?

lol i forgot about this thread until it happened again. Yeah my mouse is wired and so is my keyboard. I've unpluged them and plugged them back in, but it doesn't work. They don't use usb so I can't change the ports. It only happens sometimes so I don't know what the problem is. Its very annoying.
