That's a rather self righteous assesment. There's a difference between a good story line and a story line that is just plain long and piss poor boring.

Indeed, I'm well aware of that. He has responded aggressively against people before, so I might be expecting a bit too much by not filtering my opinion. We'll see where this goes, after all... if it's not controversial, where is the fun in it?

I enjoy politics, not participate in them, but seeing how they develop. Of course as a civilian I don't get to see the whole spectrum, only speculate about it. In a game, novel, movie, or anime, the viewer gets to see the whole spectrum of the conflict and the solution of it. The solution being a defeat or a vcitory, it's not important. But all the intricacies of the drama within.

An Example would be Metal Gear Solid, it follows all the intricacies of a world where the manipulator is deep behind the shadows. Politics at it's best, where the results do not matter at the end, because after all is a fictional world. There are other games, but at the moment it escapes my mind.

There are other stories I enjoy, the more twists and turns you do not expect it has the better it can get.

With the demand in graphics for those games, it will prolly go to Xbox or PC.

You are as aggressive as I remember.

I do have to add. You can't convince a simple minded individual that a more complex storyline is actually better than plain and straight forward one. They will always go for the easy fodder, because it won't make them think.

Not everyone likes to think like you and I to enjoy something. They prefer an easy going life, with as most things as possible handed down to them.

whats your problem bro? if your gonna start flaming take it to the flame boards, i was simply compaaring the two games and types- if Artica thought i was being aggressive then i apologize, i was just trying to make a point- doesn't mean i'm being aggressive

PS3, next to PC has the highest potential for graphics, they just need to use that potential to is fullest...i mean many will say halo isn't that great, but it sells and Sony needs to be able to compete with that, not to mention XBL is more advanced then the PS3's online and nowadays more gamers are shifting towards online so sony has their job cut out for them

Can I say something? Kamui is a she. *giggle*

Back to business, The Best sellers of Sony have been FF Series, Metal Gear, and a few others. They are usually on the top of the lists when they come out. The Software companies are scared they won't sell because the PS3 is not selling as it should.

The mentality of Sony nowadays is.... People will buy Sony because it's a Sony. Which sucks! That will take them down from the game. But what can I do? most of the games I like are Exclusives for the Playstation.

Well luckily none of the games you like are Sony first party (Do they even make anything good? Seriously God of War is the only decent Sony game I can think of) Metal Gear games have always gone cross-platform eventually; and I am starting to doubt the exclusivity of FF13. (Square is already putting out a ton of FF spinoff games on GBA, DS, and Wii. They probably won't bring 13 to Wii but XBox360 is a possibility if PS3 keeps selling so shitty; and it would be great if they brought it to PC. And I wouldn't be surprised to hear of FF14 being for Wii.

MGS has kept their main storyline on PS. Mr. Kojima did said in an interview, that no matter what they would stay on PS.

Final Fantasy, left the nintendo because of their graphical disadvantage. They wanted more. They already have an FF game coming out on Wii, if they go Multiplatform with their main line, they might go to Xbox and PS.

Well the other MGS games did come out on other platforms. 1 and 2 came to PC and XBOX; Snake Eater didn't I think.

By the way; Final Fantasy didn't leave Nintendo 'cause of graphics. Technically...N64 had better graphics than PS1 :P. They could have made FF7-9 easily on N64. The only problem was N64 still used cartridges instead of CDs so they couldn't have fit the CGI cutscenes. (Just like gamecube technically had better graphics than PS2 but they were held back by using minidiscs that only hold 1.4 gig.)
