Ever wake up while you were sleeping

I don't know it's weird. It's happened a couple times in the past, I think mostly in my late childhood, where I would dream that I had waken up and everything was normal..

until something weird would happen (mario from the NES might be in my living room, for example) and I would realize I was still asleep.

Then sometimes while asleep and in my dream I would try to wake up, but I couldn't. However oddly enough it seemed to give me control over my dream so I could dream about what I wanted to... so one time that happened I purposely dreamed about falling off a cliff and naturally I actually woke up before I hit the ground.

um anyway.. yeah... don't get me started on sleepwalkers. I don't think I've ever done that but apparently my sister has.

I use to sleep walk when I was younger and turn the tv on, or leave the front door open in the middle of winter in michigan.. my parents just LOVED me :)

i used to sleep walk when i was a kid. I once walked out of my house up the street to a friends house and knocked on their door. (I was only like 7)
Then one time i woke up in the girls locker room..... but i might have pretended to be asleep

I talk in my sleep. I've had complete conversations with my husband. He'd talk to me about it in the morning, and I'd be like "what are you talking about?". He has a lot of fun with it.

When I worked in the call center I had a complete saying to answer. "Good morning, (company name), this is Jodi, May I have the spelling of your last name please?" (it'd help to get the info I needed right away) Well my husband would do ringing noises and I'd answer just like that. The best was when he told me he was the "brother-in-law of the cousin of the sister's friend of our employee and needed to know the employee's pay info". I kept yelling and yelling at him. Oh and I started talking to people that were around me as if I had just gotten off then phone.

I could so kill him sometimes.

What!?!?!? you had control over your dreams and you didn't even make it a good one like dominatrix with tiv?

I know...it's so difficult to believe he'd prefer the sweet little answering the phone tiv to the dom tiv :D

Burn victim Akieo? LOL

I know it's from a movie, guess I've never seen it.

Anyway I did seem to have control over my dreams a few times. I just said what happened when I wanted to wake up. When I figured I was fine staying asleep, I dreamt some cool stuff like that I was flying over rooftops, or just other stuff, without and airplane / helicopter, which could explain my obsession with jetpacks. Of course I did have a dream once where I was flying a helicopter, but I had no idea what I was doing, I had asked the genie for it. Oddly enough I actually flew it around a while and didn't crash, wow dreams are weird.

One of my roommates doesn't sleep walk but he talks in his sleep, has to be the funniest thing I've ever heard in the middle of the night when he crashes on the couch. He'll just start talking and I just bust out laughing everytime.

I stayed over a buddies house, he "fell asleep" first. Later on he said "The vacuum you cunt! No! I don't want it in my face." I might've laughed for two hours or more.

Bah. People are mean that have pleasure out of other people's pain.

Oh wait...I'm a sadist never mind. have fun.

My wife will yell at me when shes dead asleep for shit i aint even doing. its funny as shit, shell sit there and fall asleep on the couch then start saying shit to me about like drinking more beer when there aint even any in the house

Just an FYI for those of you that know people who talk in their sleep. Watch to see if they stop breathing when they sleep. Also snoring is a big alarm too. They may have something called Sleep Apnea. My dad does (I probably do too just don't have time/money to get tested/fixed) and now needs a breathing machine.

My dad was the best though...once he was sleeping in front of the TV. He muttered something about coffee. He then picked up his ashtray (both parents are heavy smokers) and drank out of it. Oh man I was laughing for a long time.
