Estimate

SynTaXx-Wrath

If you're happy, I'm. . .
I don't feel like calling around its an estimation project for business class. How much would a tune up for your average 2005 SUV cost? My dad is a mechanic so mine is always free.. so I am clueless as to what you'd actually have to pay for one of these things. For the sake of the estimation* should I put 0$ if we are averaging the whole class's amount?

... I think it would depend on your area. You may actually WANT to call around. Ie. In MO, an oil change costs about $15. In CT, it costs about $30...

Paid about 150$ last time I tuned up my wife's SuV, but I had the oil system flushed out, new air filter, oil change (obviously), coolant, wiper blades, brakes, fuel filter......ect ect. Took quite a while to get it all done but was worth it.

I agree with Tiv though, you migt want to call around. There are a lot of variances in the costs of services depending on what state you live in.

Thats the thing, everything is free for me. I know that they charge about 60$ and hour for labor alone.. so if it take 4 hours on average.. gawd damn people without daddy who does it are screwed

No need for a daddy to do it. I can do it myself, and I do on my truck, jsut let the mechanics do it on my wifes vehicle because of the warranty. I want to have a record of everyting, like I had on my truck before the warranty ran out, that is done to it incase any problems arise. As my wife's mother found out, doing it at oe and not having a record can void the warranty and result in your car not getting fixed for free or reduced price (her engine blew up......they had been doing service at home on a regular basis but had no way to prove it because of no service records).
