Computer good enough to run Vanguard?

I'm just curious as to where I would go to find my system information. I want to see if I got enough to play Vanguard. :)

Is all that stuff in run -> dxdiag? I can't remember :(

Running this now..

Processor: Intel Pentium D CPU 2.80GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 2046MB Ram
Direct X Version: Direct X 9.0c

Graphics Card: BFG Nvidia GeForce 7800 GS OC 256mb.

and I still get shitty fps in swg. I wonder how bad itll be in Vg.

How the hell do you have shitty FPS in SWG? You have 2 gigs of ram, a 3 gig (ok almost) processor and a 7800 GeForce...

That knocks my machine out of the water, and I have no issues with SWG. I don't have every single graphic turned on (I can, but then it runs down to 10 FPS instead of 20).

The only issue with that system at all is the ram on your graphics card is low. For a 7 series card, it makes more sense to get a 512 (especially a high end 7 series like that)

I have a low end 7300 (256) with turbo-caching (makes it make the ram clean faster allowing me to use it more)
1 gig of ram
and a 3.06 Gig processor (intel too)

I'm thinking if you can tweak your settings in SWG, you should run fine.

As far as Vanguard, I can't tell you yet. I WILL say, if you can run Oblivion, you can run Vanguard.

yeah tiv i was going to say.....

you shouldnt have any problems running swg with that rig - although the game does have quite a few options that if checked will slaughter some of the most top notch systems out there (dont ask me which they are because i dont remember)

Thats what I want to know.. I think there is just some internal conflict going on. Besides the crap fps I also have lots of graphics problems, mainly with the character appearances. I've tried everything to make swg run better, updated drivers, tweaks here and there, switching options on and off.. nothing really works.

have you tried a reformat? i know its a long and drawn out process but it is a known cure for fixing some driver errors like this

I notice your using an OC card, have you tried lowering the clock settings. Sometimes an OC card comes out a little unstable. It might not work but you never know. You might even check the bios agp settings.

Are you running a lot of mods? I could easily see them screwing with your graphics settings. Try taking them off one at a time and see if that fixes it.

Havn't touched a single mod.

I could always run EQ2 better than SWG and EQ2 is more demanding. SWG was laggy no matter what. Even in the past when the PreCU and CU were present. And now people say is eve more laggier. So... Get the trial of EQ2 and test your computer. Vanguard has similar requirements than EQ2... Of course they are a bit higher, but still.
