oh well I was just talkin to my brother about a book he read which had a study in it that said that, so I was curious.

I know I get paid more just because I know the owner and he directly hired me, which is just as bad, but I wouldn't have known if the mid day manager and night manager weren't bragging about what they make to eachother.

I did the payroll for our department so I knew what everyone made. Well I could know. I tried not to look because honestly I didn't want to know where I was on the totem pole.
 
I don't think I could do HR. I do enough of that stuff to know I hate firing people hehe... luckily I went on vacation before it was time to let the last one know so I didn't have to do it /whew
