Both have the same features and pricing, but Blockbuster Online has a queue for your movies (mail a dvd back, another one is automatically sent from your queue), PLUS you get two free movie rentals a month from the store. Eat it Netflix!

BTW, my DVD collection is getting much bigger due to Blockbuster Online ;)

And I just downloaded a $1500 software and burned the ISO to a DVD. I am a pirate, ARRRRRRRR!

Dumbass, Netflix has queue too, it has since it first came out.

Oh and Netflix > Blockbuster Online because Netflix is getting with Tivo....imagine the possibilities. So keep your crappy Blockbuster Online (they just copied Netflix because of the giant market share Netflix took from them, and not to mention the nasty lawsuit Blockbuster lost due to false advertising). No doubt Netflix pwns, Blockbuster outdated and soon to become obsolete.

Here in cali, Blockbuster is removing the service of no late fees. The service it had to combat Netflix. Let me look up for the article. :P
 
i don't have tivo or digital cable and that junk. I don't watch much TV. Whatever I watch on TV i get the DVDs of the seasons. Except for ESPN, where i just watch for a couple hours a week.

plus, netflix doesn't give you TWO free rentals in store....cause they have no store!

And blue > red

You're missing the point of Tivo and Netflix together, let me explain it to you.

Imagine Netflix's entire library ON DEMAND! You want a movie, you can download it through your tivo box ASAP, no waiting for mail, no waiting for your DVD to ship back and another one to come to you, you get it immediately.

It is going to put not just blockbuster out of buisness, but severly hurt the sale of DVDs in general.

Whats the point of getting them on Tivo when i can't keep them for long? I gotta spend like $100 on tivo, plus i'll be paying more fees than i would with regular rentals. And if i wanna save the movies from tivo, i gotta spend more money on some other device that can burn them on a DVD, perhaps in lower quality, and without the DVD extras.

My way is better. Rent, burn, return. 100% quality hardcopies. And now that DVDs are almost as cheap as CDs, I win

Thats how it is here too .. no late fee's :) and blockbuster is all of 5 minutes away, so doing it online would be pointless when its faster to just hop in the SUV and go get movies myself

What I meant is, they are removing the service... Late Fees once again. :mellow:

yeah, but you gotta pay for each movie. With online, you just pay $18 a month with unlimited rentals, and you can rent 3 at a time. plus 2 free movies in store. so in reality, you can technically spend $50 worth of rentals a month for only $18 ;)

And no you don't pay for each movie tool, it is a monthly service.

Okay so your argument is that because you can illegally copy the movies quicker it is better. Where as I present you with something that will get you immediately, and legally, into your home whenever you want it, for however long you want it.

Not to mention, you can still use Netflix to do that as well. So you get NOTHING from blockbuster as an advantage over Netflix, so how do you win again?

Netflix for me is $9 a month. for 3 movies at a time.

they have the unlimited here too you can do through the blockbuster with a gamers thing too.. all the games you want, one monthly low price and no late fee's :P
 
that happened to me with my internet. I called yesterday to cancel my cable internet cause it was too expensive, so they gave it to me for $19.95 a month for 6 months. So, i quickly cancelled earthlink dialup until june :D

You know what Blockbuster gives you for being a long time customer? A red hot poker in the ass!

BTW, Gamefly is also far superior to Blockbuster when it comes to renting console games via mail service.
