2) It is an appropriate prefix when one does not know if a Lady is Married or not.

It is not old at all. It is a sign of respect. Like saying, "Yes ma'am..." or being called ma'am. They are all signs of respect for a Lady.

actually, "miss" is the appropriate prefix if marrage isnt clear

and art- my wifes a Mrs and she's only 21!

yeah im 23. but it aint that young, im not really a man hwore anyway, i liked having a girlfriend more. and we had some shit going on, and i was goingto be shipped to england for 2 yrs, she was living with me for a while by then, and it we were planing to get married anyway, just over a yr later though. but it was either we break up and i go to england alone, or do that. and i made the right choice so. but all being married is is a piece of paper

I dont have a dog. and since they put it in the dictionary, i will contiune saying it. same with ardvark. cause thats just a cool word.
