any of u guys think this website is a scam?

try comparing the price of that system with a configured system with the same exact components on alienware's website. http://www.alienware.com
if the price difference is more then, say, $1000- it could be a scam. It could also be some kind of refurbished or resale sort of thing. Im not sure. Maybe contact their webmaster?

the laptop goes for like 3000 or so on the website, the dude lives in the UK, dont know if thats safe

Maybe he is saying 1.5k Euroes then or pounds?

1.5k pounds would be roughly 2900 dollars (from the exchange rate when i was there-$1.89 to their 1 pnd)

Which would make sense if alienware sells them for 3k US.
 
but honestly with alienware, there is a few components, and a few software things, but your really just paying more for the name. you can get a laptop made with ALMOST everything the same for at least $750 dollars less

lol, i want the Alienware green tower, with that liqiud cooling and fingerprint ID. too bad my computer i want is like nearly $5,000 :angry:
but, when i win the lottery.....

You'll split it with me? lol my friends and I in HS all vowed that if we ever won the lotto we'd split it between the 4 of us.

lol i told my parents when i win the lottery im going to buy like 100 acres, and build my house and on the oposite side im going to cut down a 15 ft circle of trees and they can setup like a tent or something there B)

My current PC is also a Christmas present from the folks. It's a E-Machine that I upped the RAM and graphics card on. Cheap, but beautiful.
 
the guy only accepts bank transfers, if this is a scam, think i can get my money back? and oh on the site it says its in US dollars.

lol tiv i got an emachines too. up the graphics card, sound card, and ram. its not the greatest,but its far from the worste. I dont understand why emachine have such a bad name- i only have had very few problems with mine. lol, i got mine 2yrs ago w/ money from xmas too :lol:

hmmm, hard to tell...
the only bank transfer thing scares me a little bit (with all the id theft, easy way to get your info, and a start at some cash). Honestly, id check ebay.com, they usually have alienware for alright prices.
