<--- Canadian

lawls @ US laws
[/b]

Makes no difference. If you significantly "annoy" people you can still be brought to the US to face charges. Yahoo.com thought that just because they had a yahoo.fr site that they were fine with their auction sites. Well, read this article and see for yourself. You post anything hateful anywhere, you can be brought up on charges in almost any country.

yay knowledge

This in theory clashes with our Data Protection Act

Peoples personal information is protected and people dont have to declare personal information about themselves if they don't wish too.

So if i write a blog bashing my work the Data prtection Act protects my identity and the emplyer cant demand to know my identity. (Unless i worked for MI5 and my boss is the Queen)

International Law can be a nightmare. i know being an Smerican website we are bound by US law on here but being based in England i can plead the Data Protection Act if i got in trouble. Which in tern would take the case to the foreign office etc

I will ask Bananaman about this later he knows more about this than i do.
