And, The TRANSFORMERS Appearing In The Film Are...

You guys got me all nostalgic and made me go through my closet and dig out my old Transformers toys. :D :D :D

Mwahahaha! (The Yellow/Orage/Purple lump ontop of the Xbox 360 box is all of the Constructicons formed into Devastator!)

And my three age old favorites!

Not really, some cartoons survive the test of time and are re-watchable now. Transformers is one of them, Voltron on the other hand is not (well, unless you are really, really drunk). Just because the cartoon came out in our childhood doesn't mean it would still be loved if watched now. Same thing goes with cartoons out currently, very few will be even remotely watchable 20 years from now.

For example, of the saturday cartoons from 20 years ago, which ones would be watchable now? Dungeon and Dragons (yes) or Bionic Six (hell no). Both were loved when they first aired, but D&D could be aired now and would get a loyal viewership.

Degrees of quality exist in cartoons, and those marks are exemplified 20 years down the road.

Dungeon and Dragons is being rerun on Toon Disney, not a set schedule that I can tell though. But was on this past Sunday at 12am

Why Ramjet? Only Jet we had was Skywarp. Wish we had Starscream now.
Your pic looks like mine. A box of Transformers currently in the garage gathering dust but not wanting to sell.
The biggest one I have is Scorponock. B) Then maybe Ultra Magnus and Powermaster Prime. Original Optimus Prime is still the best and was like the ultimate when it was out. My brother got Megatron.

I think the 1st one we had was Sideswipe. I'm still considering getting one of the Alternator ones but I will get one of the classic ones out this Xmas. :)

I didn't play it at all until well after the cartoon was done and over.

Even then, I ended up playing the Star Wars RPG made by West End Games much more than D&D.

They look like nothing like they used to. I think they went for the "cool" factor instead of being original. And to be honest, I don't know if they look all that great or not...
