This pic was made by Alain Descamps.
He has a lot of other projects which caught my eye. I'll show them to ya in a bits. Buildings, structures, cities, that's his thing.

Here's another one. He does a chaotic scene of these images.
This is just a few modifications, not a complete make up from scratch.

Wow, makes me think people spend way too much time altering or looking at pictures in their life instead of taking them

The first picture makes me think of the movie something Tomorrow where the world changes it's gravatational field or something weird.

The second one makes me think of Heroes in five years.

Here today, gone tomorrow. All things must come to an end.

The first one reminds me of Miami Beach, and might be someone's futuristic take on it, except that there are hills in the background that shouldn't be there, and the lighting is way too indigo for Miami. I'm trying to figure, where in the world are you going to get a shoreline like that with that kind of vegetation?

I'm also thinking, WTF is that building doing in the water? There is going to be mucho wave stress on it, and the beach is going to be screwed by its disruption of the wave action. Not to mention that its probably a long way down to bedrock in that location, given the lay of the shoreline and the land.

The second one could be any bit of seamy futuro-punkish urbanscape. Take a modern structure of once-fashionable taste and apply bomb damage to it and its environs. Add a roller-coaster structure to clinch the absurdity of the scene and nail it as a punk fantasy.

2nd picture looks like something from 2142...

From the looks of things, the first picture looks like its nowhere near a beach, or as close as we think.
