Weirdness

Woke up this morning oddly earlier than I have been recently. I turned to my side and the room started spinning so I turned the other way and it stopped. Also when I stood up and it stopped. I had this happen around Halloween too. It took me 2 days to get over it then. Except now it doesn't seem as bad because when I tried laying down again to reproduce the vertigo it didn't happen.

From my research a few things can cause this such as:

Poor Circulation to Brain
Head Injury (i.e. skull fracture)
Allergy (mold, etc.)
Neurological Diesease
Infection (bacteria / virus - that probably just means ear infections)

I think I can limit it to Allergy or Infection, it could be something else but I'm hoping infection because that would mean if I'm sick (and I do feel a little bit sick) then it will heal again and hopefully be gone for good.

I think I'll see the doctor if it happens again.

I really hate when being sick makes you feel like total crap. I was going to go looking for work today but now I don't feel like doing anything today at all.

There have been times in my life where I had vertigo. Usually it's when I'm very relaxed and a lot of blood is in my head.

Usually after a few days/weeks it goes away on its own.

Wow, I mean that sucks, but it's also good because at least it's not just me.

It's also a good idea to talk to a doctor. Maybe there is something else wrong. I'm NOT a doctor.

Yeah I thought about it. I'm not covered by my dad's policy anymore since I'm not a full time student, so I have to sign up for Medicaid I guess and I don't know what that covers.

In any case I don't think I can for a while and I might as well wait and see if it happens again. From what I read they do a test where they try to reproduce the vertigo so they can try to pinpoint how to treat it (and also from what I read they hardly ever find the cause or know how to cure it, only how to treat the symptom of vertigo).

Oh yeah and there's surgeries for it but they have a risk of causing permanent hearing loss.

Okay. First thing I want to say is get medical insurance. Trust me when I say you don't want to have to go to a clinic when something serious happens. I've done it and was one of the worst times in my life. Either get it through your job, school, or a lot of insurance companies have it for individuals. Depending on your age, and if you do/don't have disabilities you probably won't be able to get medicaid.

A while ago i took a hit on my head ( I was in a fight ) and I think I had a minor concussion because everytime I would stretch my sight would turn yellowish and it would be hard to distinguish things, anyway that doesnt happen anymore I think it healed whatever it was

I had that happen to me a few times too. But then I realized I was just drunk.

But you did stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

That sounds like my world everyday. Except mine is caused from my anti seizure medicine and the spikes and waves going off in my head from my epilepy.

Its usually caused by head trauma.. mines just unexplainable... They told me I could have gotten it from extreme stress tho.. who knows... but I dont have medical insurance either.. I do have 100% charity care from the hospital for a seizure specialist.. u can look into hospitals, they do have it... I just cant go back to work on the books for a year seizure free or they'll take the help away.

I make very very good money in my profession, but its not worth losing the medical care.. 70k at a job.... or 100k in medical bills.. I'll take sitting at home and playing betty crocker for a year to deal.....
