Two of my friends were on TV for being stuck in an elevator

LOL. Apparently my school's CTI elevators are finally giving up. It doesn't help that it takes 5 minutes just to go up 9 floors in that building. Furthermore, those elevators have been breaking down almost every two weeks this quarter. I've taken them many times, and got stuck on the 7th floor one time with a friend. Luckily, we got stuck while the door was open and on the 7th floor. Apparently the motor overheated and caught fire. John doesn't even go to our school, but he comes and hangs out in the game lab sometimes:

Even if most people had gone home, I guess there's an alarm button to push so people would've come to the resque anyway. But I could think of better things to do then being stuck in an elevator. (And it all depends on who you're being stuck with )
And depending on the situation, not knowing what was going on and how big the elevator was - one might get claustophobic :blink:

Columbia's elevators have sucked that bad since at least the early 90's. I think its just endemic to Chicago. Some troupe of Chicago elevator repair dudes just set everything to glacial-fucking-slow a while back, and we've been suffering the consequences ever since.
