I liked how he sounded very cold hearted in the Matrix, perfect for a villian.

Okay, you have got to be kidding. I love Hugo Weaving as an actor, but we are talking about the "voice god" of Hollywood. The man who was responsible for countless voices be it human, robot or animal. There is absolutely no comparison between the two.

Last I heard it was still unsure. He wants to do it but not confirmed. But then both stories are rumours until an official announcement.
I don't follow it too closely to avoid spoilers. I don't even want to see some of the pics of the robots.

Hugo Weaving did a voice in Happy Feet and was unrecognisable as him. Be interesting either way.
Hell I even read the Decepticons don't speak and make funny noises!
