#59 Khazmo

The creator of the server?s first mass communications network, Khazmo is the reason IDAM (Imperial Defense and Mobilization) was developed. Khazmo was a Bothan Rifleman/Combat Medic and one of the leader?s of the Nabooian Imperial guild, VVV (Ven Vidi Vici). Khazmo took the initiative and organized all of the Imperial guilds under one communications network. It wasn?t guilds showing up in mass to help attack/defend a base, it was the Empire showing up in mass. People became friends throughout guilds because of his services, and with this, IDAM was created on March 3, 2004.

He had a simple plan. He sent a gmail out to the leaders of the Imperial guilds at the time (VVV, DSL, PWR, DARK, RW, BDC, ELITE) and asked of them to send him back a list of Imperials who could be trusted. What he received was a contact list of well over 100 Imperials willing to fight the cause against the Rebellion.

With IDAM, countless Imperial bases were saved. The message would go out via gmail and then the Imperials would group up elsewhere. Then when the Imperials were ready to form an assault, they would arrive in mass and battle the Rebellion with huge numbers.

Even before IDAM, Khazmo was a difference maker in battle. With the experienced gamers VVV by his side, Khazmo led them into battle, devastating Rebels with the lethal combination of a Rifleman/CM. Often ?barking? as he lead his troops into battle.

Vicimus, the hometown of VVV, also held a large fortress of Imperial bases during the glory days of SWG. The citizens of VVV diligently guarded their bases each and every night, whether it was rumored to be attacked or not. Countless times the Rebellion would attack the bases at Vicimus, but with IDAM, the Empire came to support one of their most trusted allies time after time.

Khazmo is one of those people whom many people have forgotten just how much he meant to this server. Without him and his simple yet brilliant idea of IDAM, the Empire would never have been as united as it was.

With this summary, I salute you Khazmo and I thank you for all the contributions you have made to this server.

I'm immortal now!! Thanks Tutok for the props and for remembering. It's so tough to leave a game that you have put so much time and heart into. The hardest part was leaaving friends, allies, and our beloved city Vicimus behind.

Since leaving SWG I moved on to EQ2. I'm not sure if VVV was there for about a year but we then moved to WoW. Now I find myself just playing Joint Operations and that's about it. Unfortunately I don't have the time anymore to dedicate to the MMO community like I once did.

My best and worst memories in 9 years of playing MMO's (started on The Realm) are from SWG. There's NOTHING that has compared to seeing a base of our under attack, sending out an IDAM alert, and witnessing the throngs of Imperials that showed up with blasters in hand.

Kudos to all the Imperials (and a few of our respected Rebel foes!l lol) who made gaming there so much fun. And kudos to you Tutok for remembering and posting this great honor! (jeez man, did you take notes the whole time cause you got everything dead on!)

haha, it was fun doing you summary khazmo, because I actually knew you.

I looked on forums for info, plus i remember some stuff from my memory.

Glad to hear I hit yours dead on, because others it's hard to find info on and sometimes my summaries might be shady, but not on purpose.

Anyways, glad you made it on here and you got enough votes to get on. Keep in touch here :)
