two weeks ago my weird neighboughs who live directly across from us had a really powerful alarm system installed in their house ( the exact same sort of house we have) and now..EVERY time the door opens their fing alarm system makes this incredibly loud BWOOP BWOOP noise, scaring the crap out of me.

I think i will turn to the dark side and destroy them all..... or maybe just throw stones at the sodding thing all day.
bwahahahahaahahahahahah grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

we live in the tiniest middle of nowhere community in southern switzerland WTF do you need a GD alarm system wired too the teeth on your frigging hard to get into house for???

Fight fire with fire. I'd suggest a stereo, a dozen or so good speakers, and a Gwarfest that starts around 3am. One week, maybe two, they'll move or surrender

erm ...currently apoptygma berzerk is BLASTING but it doesn't do much good though... the alarm faces the window side of our house and my music only faces the wall side WITH SAID alarm on theirs....not a fair fight

Every single morning, until they start, call the police the second you hear it and tell them that you think the neighbors home alarm is going off and they must be in grave danger!!!!

I don't know...I always thought howling cats were down right annoying just a bad as the barky dog. the owrst are the cats that fight outside you window at 2 am..... :huh:

Mine only does when we're not around or when one of us is at work. She just misses us.

Oh and Merlyn - just start making loud fk'ing noises while banging on the wall when it happens....

UPDATE:

my husband, godlovehim, decided that my bitching aboutthe noise is enough to go over and 'talk' to the neighbours.... so apparantly this noise is a 'problem' with the system andthey have asked for the alarm company to do something about it but the fixing date keeps getting delayed ( typical) so it's not ( I hope) a permenant thing! And he said, it is five times as loud in their own home.

phew if I'd have had to live with that all summer I'd have gone mad.
