Speeding up my Down Loads

So Ive got High speed DSL (better than 786k) but my DL fluctuates between 4 and 30 kb/s. I dunno, but that seems lame. I blamed my wireless card, but now that Im using a ether cord, shouldnt it be faster? (its not). I know thats all very generic, but I dont know what info would be helpful.

Well, Im trying to DL the DnL SOG, so i figured itd be faster than 2 days?

Damn, and no, I was trying to get help from El-d, who might not have helped me if he thought it was for asian gals, as I would be perpetuating the stereotype, or something like that. Im actually quite the fan.
