I am willing to spend upto 250 on a mp3 player but I want to know of the I-pod or the creative lab one is better. discuss.

i shoulda got creativei have both if you want small and portable like for running or what ever get an ipod but they are a pain to work with non -itunes sites
i also have a creative labs zen xtra 30g thats was about half the cost of the ipod 30g
the creative has alot more abilities than the ipod especially on the fly ..its the only mp3 player that allows you to make and edit playlists w/o being docked to a pc ..also it has a built in eq ( eax sound i htink they call it ) which almost no other mp3 players have ..i swear to god i have some 20 dollar koss earbuds and my shit booms cause of the eq in the system
so in short want small and portable ipod all the way want lots of room and better features and ease go with creative

I want to be able to rollerblade with it and well i was wondering if the 8 GB creative labs is too big.

I am not sure if the issue is that they are so thin that they don't take alot of abuse and therefore get defective easier.Oh, what about the nanos? Bought one for WW for XMas, now you got me wondering if I made a mistake or not.
