Northern Illnoise University Shooting

I have friends who go to NIU. I go to college in the city of Chicago, at DePaul. It's fucked up. My friends are OK. One of my friends there is friends with a girl who was in Kohl Hall when the shooting happened. Her name is Rebecca, and she got blood splattered all over her from a student near her getting shot. Fucking scary shit. It took me 2 hours to get through, all the phone lines were jammed.

My husband's mom has a friend who works there. Actually it's really screwey because his mom works at the same college at a different campus. Her friend was literally just transferred to the campus near Chicago. We haven't heard anything about her yet - his mom hadn't been able to get through.

This world is getting crazier and crazier. How much more death does this country need?
