So a while ago a chick somehow got me to go to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Anyway; one of the things they have there a collection of paintings from the same guy who "painted" all these:

What I was wondering is; how does one get started in this career path? I am ready to go with plenty of samples of my chickenscratch, crayon scribblings, eraser smudges, and bullshit pseudointellectual explanations of the deep meanings hidden within every drop of randomly sloshed paint.

yes it is art... if you're a two years old...

Well there are sctually people who think stuff like this has deep meaning; and this guy is a super famous artist:

I will never understand the crazy intellectual hipster mentality...

I just can't understand it either at times...
We have this park with "artwork" *cough cough* in the town where I live, it's outdoors. In one area there are about 10 bathtubs standing up on the one end (looks like they are growing up threw the ground). It looks horrible, but yet they call it art...

Picasso has made a drawing with three lines on it, in three different colors. It costs millions... It's all about having a famous name, creating something new or just something different that gets peoples interest/attention. And no offence, but the richer people get, the more weird art they have hanging on their wall :P ^_^

Art to me is about capturing a moment, draw/paint something that looks so real that its hard to say if its a picture or not. Or it's when you succeed in composing colors/shapes in a beautiful way :) Granted, art and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but some things are just not art, it's BS :P
