The magic never ends...
Im real sad, 'couse they called from the workshop telling me that my car is almost all broken after only having it for 2,5 years. I can barely drive it. It's a really nice car, I really like it (Dark metallic blue, SAAB 2000 CSE -96), but they can't find whats wrong with it :( I've put down more then $2000 on it...
They changed the start engine on it last week, since that was caput, but there is still something else that's wrong...
(They are overbooked at my workshop, so I have to wait until 16th of August to know if it's a deadend or not...*sigh* I could go elsewhere, but they are trustworthy, and we've gone to them for over 20 years in my family. Plus they specialize in SAAB )
 
Dont let a fuckin car drag you in with repairs. You'll kick yourself in the ass in the end. You need to realise when its time to go "yea thats not worth it".
 
Car shops tend to "find" things that are wrong.. if you get my meaning. "Oh, we'll have to fix this and this and that.. oh and here's the bill." You kinda also have to wonder why sometimes the car was running better BEFORE it got into the shop, then you're back in the shop weeks later to fix it again..

I know how it feels though. :/ If repairs become expensive and quite frequent I would start looking for another car..
 
I get your points...and thanks :) This car shop is alittle bit different tho. Its a small one that lives by its reputation, and has done so for many years. I dont know tho...Anyhow, I have set a prize for what I'll let it cost. If it turns out to be more expensive when it comes down to it...I'll sell the car to someone for *really nice* spareparts.

Stick with the garage you have used before. But spend a lot fixing a car because it will only go wrong again, happened to me.
Invest it in another car that will last a little longer.

I hope you can get some wheels going :)

I actually have all signatures and avatars turned off........I did so because there were just to many of what I considered inappropriate ones here at Wanderhomies.....
