If SWG is like WoW now, then why quit playing SWG to play WoW?

Just tired of everyone saying SWG is a WoW clone.

no, it is becoming a clone, but a really cheap one. SWG is currently at 1/15th of WoW Cloneness. With each publish it will get closer and closer. So give it a year or two. After all, many devs have admitted to playing and loving WoW. Including Tiggs and Julio. So its not hard to figure out where their inspiration comes from. From a business perspective, they saw how much revenue Blizzard raked in with WoW, so the easy way out is ti copy WoW and expect a similar outcome from a different audience. Not the first time an MMO has recycled another original MMO, and it won't be the last

Yeah, SWG is trying to become WoW, just look at the CU. It looked/played exactly like WoW. Now with the NGE they are adding in the features of WoW, but with SWG's odd little FPS functionality.

Just because SWG is working towards being a WoW clone, SWG will never be as good as WoW. Not to say WoW is good (because I don't think so), just that SWG is on the bottom of the quality heap.
