I got reemed out because I stated that I had trained my manager on something that he didn't know how to do. That's a no no because now I "made it out to seem he works under me." Then I was asked if what they were telling me was not sinking in. I said, "oh I understand what you're saying, but I think it's dumb as shit and completely assinine, now, is what I'm saying sinking in?"

and yes, I still have a job B)
 
LOL Timi!

I hate this world too. I usually get smacked for giving too many ideas when the job I'm in isn't an "idea" giving job.

Hehe that reminds me of my first real corporate IT job. I learned from my mentor to make your boss's boss look good. Train your superior well but in a way that it shows that they learned it on their own or sought out your experience thus optimizing their work force. Perception is everything!

Read SunTzu the art of war and you cannot fail in the corporate world. For every example SunTzu shows us in the art of war can be applied to any situation we may face.

remember, never be too good at your job unless that is the job you want stay in. Reason being is if you are too good they will not promote you. Now if you want to stay in that position for a while then be a god cause you can show up late and do other things cause they can't live without you.

Pfff....I'm already lookin for a new job. This was not my dream job, I just took it because I needed a job and a paycheck.
