OK, this was really weird. i'm not sure how to make of this. I've been having strange experiences all day. First off, on the train this morning this couple was having a punching contest on the ENTIRE ride downtown. They were pretty much socking each other on the legs and arms...HARD. I was like, WTF? If I did that to a girl I'd have gotten arrested. But she was punching his leg HARD and he would return with a nice tight jab to the arm or her thigh. And they both were laughing in between the "ows."
Then i get off the train and go to the Dunking Donuts kiosk. I was a bit hungry, so on top of the coffee I ordered two donuts, one being an Old Fashioned. Then that older lady working there was like, "You like the Old Fashioned?" I had my iPod in one ear so i was like, "Uh, yeah." So she goes, "Oh good! Good boy! I give you extra one on the house! You come again more often, OK?" I was like, wtf, it's a donut, but ok. So i got a free Old Fashioned.
So after class I head to the subway to go home. Well, as I go to enter there's a guy with a U.S. Marshall jacket, with the badge and everything (guns, bulletproof vest, etc), and he had one of those specially trained German Shephards with him. He was interrogating some of the CTA security. I'm not sure if it was the actual U.S. Marshall or a guy from the U.S. Marshall's office. He was a bit older, like in his late 40s. I was like, "WTF is a U.S. Marshall doing at the subway?" So I went downstairs to wait for the train and 5 mins later he came down with the dog and started inspecting, and the dog suddenly started leading him down the long dark corridor away from the terminal. I'd understand if it was regular Chicago Police doing a routine check, but this freaked me out. A U.S. marshall? WTF was going on at the subway? A fugitive? a terrorist bomb threat? Fucking weird man. Not a normal day at all. Furthermore, I'm missing DeFRAG's Gears of War tournament cause I gotta go to work
