I was looking over Ebay's policy and I couldn't find anything relating online game accounts and items. So I decided to ask them.

My question:
Is the selling of virtual game items and accounts allowed? For
example:
-World of Warcraft gold
-Star Wars Galaxies credits
-MMORPG Accounts
-Items from MMORPGs[/b]

Their answer:

Hello,

We appreciate you taking the time to investigate eBay policy and how it
may affect the sale of your item.

While the sale of such virtual items or accounts may not be expressly
prohibited on eBay, such sales may violate the user agreements of the
software/game.

Since we do not handle or inspect the items offered for sale, nor do we
have enough information about your item to make any judgment as to
whether it is authorized. In addition, eBay is not an expert in the
rights of any third parties. As a result, we are not in a position to
make a judgment as to whether the item you have listed is authorized or
legal.

We recommend that you contact the rights owner of the software/game to
find out more about the sale of these types of items.

Through our VeRO program, we do remove listings reported to us by the
rights owners. Multiple removals may lead to the account being reviewed
for suspension.

I have included some links below that you may find helpful in
