Santa wa s first broguht in by the parade to usher in the holiday season here ingoold ole philly. every year he would ride in on his sleigh form the art museum all the way to the gimbles department store window where the fire company would then extend a ladder 5 stories and he would carriyng a large bag of gifts climb intot he toy department window. This started 100 years ago and still happnens today.
The second is one that s much more of a cherished memory. It s the wannakers christmas light show. Every year in the gallery of wannamakers dept store (famous for the movie manequin) a huge light show with amazing organ music shines in the festive season.
