Anyone ever been Pepper Sprayed?

I've been in the tear gas chamber, and I've been peppersprayed...

I'd take the chamber any number of times before I get sprayed again.

Tear gas makes your eyes water like crazy, and it's tough to breath. Sometimes you might even throw up.

Pepper spray on the other hand, makes your eyes water out of control, makes it feel like your face is melting off, and makes it hurt like a son of a bitch to even think about opening your eyes.
 
I don't know about that the CS is nasty stuff and it makes you feel like you face is on fire as well..

From what I have read I think it is about the same stuff.

the snog running to the floor is kind of cool though nice side effect...

Also remember, do not, I mean do NOT let the pepper spray get into your mouth. You be nothing but a drooling pile of mush, with nothing but a straw to help you eat for a while.

Yeah, in the eyes is bad, but at least after time the tears can clear it out, you get it in the mouth or swallow that shit, be prepared for a free trip to the hospitial.

The worst part of pepper spray is that the police type is only a 6% ratio of active ingredients. Imagine 100%!

The military version is 8%.

Don't quote me on this, but it's what I was told when I was working on qualifying to use the stuff.

From what I have found online, law enforcement can use up to 10% concentration of the 13.3% Capsaicinoids.

There is this stuff to ward off bears, however, that is a tad bit more potent :lol:

This stuff is closer to 15%!

Bear, meet pepper spray!
